JUSTICE HEMANT GUPTA ORAL ORDER 11-02-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner has sought direction to the police authorities to arrest respondent Nos.6 to 9 said to be suspect in Laxmipur Police Station Case No.89 of 2015 registered for offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Admittedly, there is no direct evidence of the death of father of the petitioner, namely, Daulat Yadav. The case is
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.66 of 2016 (3) dt.11-02-2016 2/2 based on circumstantial evidence. The learned State counsel states that the matter is under investigation and necessary steps will be taken in accordance with law expeditiously. In view thereof no further orders are called for in the present writ petition.
