Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 376(2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012.

Petitioner is the rapist of the daughter of the informant which would be evident from the statement of the informant in the F.I.R. as eye-witness and the statement of the victim before the police. Petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2017. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Mahila Police Station Case No. 293 of 2016, POCSO Case No. 27 of 2016 pending in the court of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54850 of 2017 (5) dt.19-06-2018 2/2 Bhojpur at Arrah.

Hence, prayer for bail is refused.
