2. The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Sessions Trial No. 1027 of 2023 arising out of Nowkothi P.S. Case No. 21 of 2021 instituted for the offence u/s 302, 120(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 12.9.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 11789 of 2023 with a direction to expedite the trial at the earliest.

4. In compliance of order dated 20.6.2024, a report with regard to the present stage of trial has been received which

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39161 of 2024(3) dt.12-07-2024 2/2 is kept at Flag 'R'. From perusal of the said report, it appears that the case is fixed for adducing prosecution evidence and the trial is likely to be concluded within six months.

5. No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner, as such, his prayer is rejected.

6. Accordingly, this application stands disposed off.

7. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within stipulated period of time i.e six months, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer of bail.
