2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhagwanganj P.S. Case No. 54 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 386, 387, 120(B), 506 of the IPC and Sections 18, 20 of the UAP Act and Sections 25(1-b), 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

3. Earlier the bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 23.12.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 55409 of 2022 which reads as follows:- Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40040 of 2024(2) dt.19-07-2024 2/3 Bhagwanganj P.S. Case No. 54 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 386, 387, 120B, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 18 and 20 of the UAP Act and Sections 25(1-b), 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner is accused in ten criminal cases from before. In the present case he is accused of demanding extortion from the brick kiln owners.

It seems that he is a member of Naxalite Gang.

Considering the allegations and the criminal antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Nawada, Jehanabad, Gaya and Patna are directed to get the trial of the petitioner expedited in the following cases:- (I) Sirdala P.S. Case No. 264 of 2019.

(II) Jehanabad(Muffasil) P.S. case No. 102 of 2001.

(III) Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 412 of 2016.

(IV) Rajauli P.S. Case No. 197 of 2017.

(V) Badeya P.S. Case No. 12/2017.

(VI) Barachatti P.S. Case No. 139/2018 (VII) Rajauli P.S. Case No. 263/2018.

(VIII) Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 212/2019.

(IX) Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 162/1999.

(X) Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 277/2016.

It is expected that the trial of the petitioner shall be concluded at the earliest.
