The petitioner seeks bail in Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 255 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 20, 22, 23, 24, 27, 27A and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 09.02.2021. Vide order dated 18.08.2021, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'X'), which reveals that charge has already been framed and case is fixed for evidence. Considering the nature of accusation, quantity of recovery and the stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the
