JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-04-2024 Heard Mr. Mayank Mohan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Prasoon Sinha, along with Mr. Amarnath Kumar, learned counsels appearing on behalf of the Patna Municipal Corporation and Mr. Abbas Haider, learned Sc 6 appearing on behalf of the State.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that Vigilance Case No.54A/2015 is pending before the Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.9604 of 2022(4) dt.22-04-2024 2/2 enquiry report has already been submitted by the Inquiry Officer with respect to the construction of fourth floor. Learned counsel seeks that the Municipal Commissioner may be directed to dispose of the Vigilance Case No.54 A/2015.

3. Considering the information given by the petitioner, as well as, Mr. Prasoon sinha, learned counsel for the Patna Municipal Corporation that the Vigilance Case No.54 A/2015 is still pending, the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation is directed to dispose of the Vigilance Case No.54 A/2015 following the principles of natural justice well within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. In case of failure, the petitioner may take appropriate action against the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
