The petitioner in this case is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No.1203(C)/2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the D.P. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the complainant and has committed no offence.

Learned APP for the State is present and has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38910 of 2019(5) dt.28-11-2019 2/2 wherein the parties have entered into a settlement on mutually agreed terms and conditions, let the petitioner in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing of bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Patna City in connection with Complaint Case No.1203(C)/2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. i.e. (i) a condition that the person shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required;

(ii) a condition that the person shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer;
