JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 07-08-2025 In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- For directing the Anchladhikari, Jehanabad to accept the rent and to grant receipt with regards to his following land: Khata No. Plot Nos. Mauza 42 229 32 43 12 Situated in the Village-Kumhawa, Mauza No.32, and District-Jehanabad.

B. For directing the Anchaladhikari, Jahanabad to dispose of the application dated 7.5.2018 contained in Annexure-1

C. For grant of any other relief/s which Your Lordships deem it and proper in the facts and circumstances of the instant Case?

2(i). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has filed an application for mutation of land in question which is as under:- Khata No. Plot Nos. Mauza 42 229 32 43 12 2.(ii) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that aforesaid land is situated in the Village-Kumhawa, Mauza No.32, DistrictJehanabad. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated in para 6 that petitioner has moved before the Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redresser Officer, Jehanabad, on 20.09.2018, who disposed of his application, on 07.12.2018, directing that the petitioner may apply online before the Anchaladhikari for mutation of the land along with enquiry report but the petitioner has not applied again for mutation of the land as no enquiry report has been supplied to him as yet and his application is still pending. Upon query, learned counsel for the petitioner has replied that he has not yet filed any online application for mutation of the land in question before Anchaladhikari.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that if petitioner files online application before Circle Officer, Jehanabad for mutation of the land in question, the concerned authority will look into the matter.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the arguments advanced on behalf of the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file online application for mutation of the land in question before the Circle Officer, Jehanabad on the grounds which has been raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order. If such application is filed within the stipulated period, the concerned authority will pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the party concerned expeditiously, within a reasonable period of time, without being prejudiced by the order passed by this Court.
