2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Minapur P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, lodged on 17.01.2024, under Sections 304B/201/34 of the of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against four named accused persons against whom the allegation is that the accused persons consistently harassed and tortured the informant's sister for fulfilling the demand of dowry and not giving birth to a child. Petitioner is husband.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel submits that antecedent of the petitioner is clean. He is in custody since 23.01.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is husband and there is direct allegation of demand of dowry and torture. The death of the deceased has occurred withing five years of her marriage.

6. In this background, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is refused. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Mkr./Ankit U T
