Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385/387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ransom was demanded from the informant by writing letter as well as on mobile call by the referred mobile. During investigation it revealed that the referred mobile was of the petitioner. Petitioner is accused in several cases including cases registered for demand of ransom. Petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2019.

Considering the nature of material as well as criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail in connection with Nanpur P.S.Case No.432 of 2018 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34251 of 2020(4) dt.27-01-2021 2/2 Sitamarhi. Hence, prayer is refused.

The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
