This application has been preferred for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs or order/orders or direction to the Respondent authorities to delete the name of centre namely Bhagatchak in Sr.No. 237 in Advertisement No. 01/2017 issued by the District Magistrate, Gaya dated 07.10.2017 and further direction to respondent authorities in place of Bhagat Chak, Chowar may be added as Chowar in Ward no. 4 for which advertisement issued.

3. From the counter affidavit on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 to 5 in paragraph 12, it has been incorporated

Patna High Court CWJC No.4036 of 2018(3) dt.25-09-2023 2/2 as follows:

(12) That now the matter of correction of ward No. 4 in Place of ward no. 4 will be done by respondent No. 4 along with other wards in due course. It is pertinent to note that in Para- 10 of the said advertisement no. 01/2017 it was made clear that in case, if any mistake in the advertisement will be found then appropriate correction will be made.

4. Learned State Counsel submits that in the aforesaid background, the writ has become infructuous.

5. Be that as it may, since no one has appeared, dismissed for non-prosecution.
