The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 341, 323, 354B, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is of having assaulted the informant with a hasuli. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case as a result of land dispute between the parties. Even otherwise the alleged injury on the informant has been found to be simple in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 12.4.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

No.46774 of 2021(3) dt.08-03-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner having remained in custody for 10 months, the contents of the injury report of the informant and investigation in the case having concluded, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Rajgir P.S. Case no. 292 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif.
