The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 380, 504, 341, 323, 354, 333, 379, 307, 506, 427, 151, 152, 295 and 298 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that on 25.11.2012 at 4.00 P.M., the FIR named accused persons along with 100-150 unknown carrying ' Muharam procession and raised slogans in order to hurt religious feeling of the informant, used abusive language and assaulted the villagers.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners were not named in the FIR. The name of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6698 of 2016 (2) dt.15-02-2016 2/2 petitioners subsequently sprang up during investigation. They were co-villagers of the FIR named accused persons and the accusation is against mob. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No.388/2012, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Ashwini/- U T
