Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 564 of 2018 filed for the offence punishable under sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this matter was settled between the parties on the terms that Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lac) will be paid by the petitioner to the opposite party no. 2 as one time settlement amount.
