The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of misuse of privilege of bail. Petitioner has not appeared before the trial court since 7.3.2009 and later on he was arrested and brought before the court. The petitioner is in custody since 4.6.2015.

Looking to the period of custody and nature of allegation, let the petitioner, Manoj Singh alias Manoj Kumar Singh, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49297 of 2015 (2) dt.06-11-2015 Sessions Judge IV, Saran at Chapra in S.T. No.386 of 1997, arising out of Nayagaow P.S. Case No.14 of 1996, subject to the conditions that (i) one of the bailors shall be father, mother and wife of the petitioner and (ii) petitioner would participate in the court proceeding and in the event of being absent on two consecutive dates, the court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
