The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, four accused persons are stated to have dashed in the motorcycle of the informant and it is stated that the accused persons took away Rs.2.5 lacs in cash which he was carrying.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the F.I.R. was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation in the confessional statement of a co-accused made before police. No incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46213 of 2021(3) dt.03-03-2022 2/2 possession who is in custody since 12.5.2020 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year 9 months and chargesheet having been submitted, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sessions Trial no.275 of 2020 (arising out of Purushottampur P.S. Case no.53 of 2019) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge IX, West Champaran at Bettiah.
