2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 31 of 2025, lodged on 28.01.2025, under Sections 334(1) & 303(2) of the BNS, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution, FIR has been lodged against unknown accused persons, wherein it is alleged that jewellery belonging to Lord Bajrangbali has been stolen from the temple.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner's name figured during the course of investigation, not for committing theft in the temple, but merely on the allegation that he converted the stolen jewellery into core material. Counsel further submits that the petitioner has been in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34354 of 2025(2) dt.03-06-2025 2/2 custody since 17.02.2025 and has a clean criminal antecedent. The petitioner is also ready to comply with any conditions that may be imposed upon him by this Hon'ble Court.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is involved in converting the stolen articles belonging to Lord Bajrangbali from the temple and has allegedly converted the said jewellery into bronze and gold.
6. In the present facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected, with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
