The case is registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 302, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, in connection with S. Tr. No. 751 of 2021 arising out of Khirimore P.S. Case No. 72 of 2014.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the petitioner herein and other accused persons arrived at 'Bhaishashur Nala' where the informant and others were resting in a hut. They demanded 10 kg. fish as ransom and upon refusal, they opened fire killing four persons namely Uday Bind, Manish Bind, Janardhan Bind and Rampravesh Bind.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36684 of 2022(2) dt.22-09-2022 2/2 The petitioner who has seven criminal antecedents under his belt has walked into judicial custody in 2022 in a case which was lodged in 2014.

As per the learned APP, the charges have already been framed in the matter.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner and the bail application is accordingly rejected.

In view of the fact that the matter is of 2014, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
