2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:

"(1) This Hon'ble High Court may be issued an appropriate orders and directions to the respondents - authorities (Respondents No. 5 and 7 ) to make payment of due arrears of Salary of Rs. 871601/=(Rupees Eight Lakh, Seventy One Thousands, Six Hundred One only) from the period of financial years 1995-96--97 to 2013-14 to the Petitioner Dr Draupadi Singh, Reired Professor in

Patna High Court CWJC No.1297 of 2021(5) dt.06-08-2024 2/2 History Department of T.P. S. College, Patna. (II) The direction may be issued to the respondents - authorities to make payment of an appropriate interest with regards to the entire due arrears of Salary as prayed in this writ petition.

(III) Any others reliefs may be allowed for which petitioner is entitled in accordance with law."

3. The petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation before the respondent no.5 (The Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya) along with all supporting documents within a period of three weeks and the respondent no. 5 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioner after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through his counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within eight weeks thereafter.

4. If the petitioner is found entitled to the arrears of salary, the payment will be made to the petitioner within two months.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
