No. 1440 of 2014 has been filed by the petition, under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, seeking condonation of delay in preferring the present criminal revision application.

Having considered the reasons assigned in the present petition seeking condonation of delay and having heard the learned counsel for the parties, this Court is satisfied that the petitioner was prevented by sufficient causes from preferring the application within time. In view of the above, the delay, in preferring the present criminal revision application, is hereby condoned.

The petitioner has not brought on record proof of payment of maintenance allowance despite clear orders of this Court, dated 17.07.2014. Learned Counsel for the petitioner is clueless as to whether the payment of maintenance amount has been made in the light of the orders of this Court, dated 17.07.2014.

In view of the above, this application is dismissed.
