2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 106 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 112(2), 61(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

As per the prosecution case, on a secret information, a police team reached Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Government High School where six persons were found allegedly involved in an organized racket of cheating candidates appearing in Bihar Police recruitment PET by promising selection in exchange for Rs. 5-6 lakh. Three persons were apprehended, namely Shiyaram Singh, Sanjeev Kumar alias Soni and Santosh Kumar, while three others fled from the spot.

4. During interrogation, the accused allegedly disclosed their involvement in the said racket. A mobile phone seized from Shiyaram Singh allegedly contained PDF admit cards of candidates, WhatsApp chats relating to exam manipulation and records of financial transactions. The accused also disclosed the names of their associates who had escaped, who were allegedly handling candidate documents and mobile phones.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 06.02.2026 and has one criminal antecedent. The allegations against the petitioner are serious and grave in nature. There exists prima facie material against the petitioner indicating his involvement in the commission of the offence.

Considering the nature and gravity of the offence and the specific allegation that the petitioner is involved in an organized racket of fraud and cheating by luring gullible candidates with false promises of government employment, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands dismissed.

8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of
