JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 18-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the BRA Bihar University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').
2. Supplementary show cause has been filed on behalf of the University bringing on record the calculation chart with regard to the payment made in terms of order dated 20.07.2017 passed in CWJC No. 18486 of 2015.
3. It is not disputed that payments have been made. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the statutory interest on the delayed payment of Gratuity of about Rs. 26,000/- has not been paid.

Having regard to the aforesaid, the application stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the Registrar of the University giving calculation with regard to non payment of the statutory interest on Gratuity. If the same is done within four weeks, the Registrar shall get the matter verified from the records and shall pass a reasoned order within four weeks from the date of filing of such representation. If it is found that the contention of the petitioner is correct and something further is required to be paid, the same shall also be paid to the petitioner within three weeks from the date of passing of the order.
