JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-12-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to revise the Pension of the petitioner after computing his total period of services from 5th of April 1981 to 1st October 2001 and consequent upon revision of the pension the respondents may be directed to make payment of all consequential benefits including arrears of pension.

(ii). For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of the grade pay of 4200 w.e.f.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14378 of 2021(2) dt.13-12-2023 2/2 01.01.2006 (payable with effect from 01.04.2007) and in level 6 w.e.f. 01.01.2016 (payable with effect from 01.04.2017) to the petitioner and revise his pension accordingly." 2.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
