The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Excise Case No.C-III-190 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant alleged that during the course of raid, Manju Devi was apprehended while she was throwing bottles of liquor in front of her house but her sons who had kept liquor managed to flee away.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that mother of the petitioner has already been arrested. Petitioner was not found inside the house but it appears that petitioner and his brother had kept the liquor inside their house but when raid was conducted, the mother of the petitioner was apprehended

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34106 of 2020(2) dt.17-03-2021 2/2 who was throwing the bottles of liquor in front of her house. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
