The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 419 of 2020, dated 12.08.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

123 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which was being guarded by the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been made accused in this case on mistaken identity. There has not been any recovery from his

The petitioner is in custody since 12.08.2020 and is a person of clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-Cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 419 of 2020.
