JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-08-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For setting aside the order dated 7.3.2018 passed by District Public Grievances Redressal Officer, Banka by which proceeding has been dropped observing that complainant is satisfied, and relying upon the material contrary to the records.

(ii) For commanding the respondent to act on the basis of order dated 18.9.2017 passed by Sub-Divisional Public Grievances Redressal Officer,

Patna High Court CWJC No.8358 of 2018(3) dt.01-08-2022 2/2 Banka as per measurement report dated 29.7.17, implementing the same by removing the encroachment made by the respondent no. 8 on public land."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the District Magistrate, Banka for redressal of his grievances including that of directing the Circle Officer, Banka to remove the encroachment in question after remeasurement of the land in question. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that the District Magistrate, Banka shall take appropriate steps, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order as also filing of appropriate representation by the petitioner, with regard to his aforesaid grievances. The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
