BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 22-09-2023 Supplementary show cause along with affidavit is stated to have been filed in the Registry. The same has not been tagged to the present MJC-contempt petition. While taking note of the prayer portion of the State counsel's petition copy, it is evident that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed in so far as extending the benefit of 7th Pay Commission w.e.f. from 01.01.2016. His pay has been re-fixed and so also pension has been re-fixed as is evident from paragraphs 8 to 10. Further, it is

Accordingly, the contempt proceedings of present MJC-contempt petition stands dropped reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority if any other service benefit was required to be extended to him.
