The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 259 of 2023 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 365, 420, 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 10.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49200 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.

In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38885 of 2024(3) dt.25-06-2024 2/2 report, dated 22.05.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is annexed. From its perusal it appears that the trial may be concluded within a period of 6 months.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within stipulated period ie. 6 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Nirajkrs/- U T
