This application for regular bail arises out of Alauli P.S. Case No. 354 of 2018, disclosing offence punishable under Sections 304-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is husband of the deceased, his prayer for regular bail was earlier rejected by an order dated 12.01.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32258 of 2020. While rejecting the application for regular bail, it was observed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months, if there was no substantial progress at the trial. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 17.06.2020. Except for framing of the charges, there is no

Be that as it may, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 17.06.2020, and there is no substantial progress at the trial, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Khagaria in S.T. No. 21 of 2021 arising out of Alauli P.S. Case No. 354/2018.
