The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Korha P. S. Case No. 239 of 2020, dated 22.05.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 379, 411, 413, 414 and 420 of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35183 of 2020(2) dt.23-03-2021 2/3 Indian Penal Code.
The petitioners have not been named in the F.I.R. and their implication in this case is only on the basis of confession of a co-accused / Karan Kumar Singh.
There is no other material against them except the afore-noted confession.
Nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioners.
Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Korha P. S. Case No. 239 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35183 of 2020(2) dt.23-03-2021 3/3 under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
The application stands allowed.
