The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is general and omnibus allegation against this petitioner. No specific overt act has been alleged against this petitioner. This petitioner is only alleged to have looted cash and ornaments. It is further submitted that with the intervention of well-wishers, now case has been compromised between the parties and a joint compromise petition has been filed before the learned court below (Annexure - 3). Petitioner has got clean antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
