Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defects within four weeks.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable u/s 304B and 120B of the IPC. The petitioner is said to have committed torture and assault upon the sister of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and later on, his sister has been murdered by the petitioner and other accused persons.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case due to dirty village politics. No such occurrence, in the manner as alleged, has ever

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37533 of 2022(2) dt.29-09-2022 2/2 taken place. Petitioner has never made any dowry demand nor has tortured the deceased. In fact, the deceased committed suicide as she was of unsound mind. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the nature of allegation and that petitioner is husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on his behalf is hereby rejected.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
