In the instant application filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the Mohania P.S. case No. 232 of 2013 dated 23.08.2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379 & 498A read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.
