2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
3. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No. 80 of 2025 instituted for the offence under Sections 80, 238 & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
4. Prosecution case in short is that daughter of the informant has been done to death at her matrimonial house by her in-laws due to non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41826 of 2025(3) dt.22-08-2025 2/3 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against her and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. There is no specific or direct allegation of any overt act against the petitioner rather the same is general and omnibus in nature. The husband of the deceased was arrested on 01.03.2025 and he has been remanded in judicial custody. He further submits that the petitioner along with her husband was living separately from Chandan Ram and his wife and they have nothing to do with the day-to-day affairs of the Chandan Ram and his family. The petitioner bears no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet is submitted in this case. He further submits that the co-accused Kameshwar Ram who is the father-in-law of the deceased has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 17.06.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 36319 of 2025.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the petitioner being lady, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six
