====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 28-08-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Pramod Kumar Pandey, learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of dowry death. Allegation is that this petitioner along with other accused persons killed daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is a victim of over implication. Specific accusation is against husband of the deceased. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and he has got no concern with family affairs of the deceased.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he along with other accused persons committed murder of daughter of informant for dowry and the deceased died with seven years of marriage in unnatural circumstances in her matrimonial house.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
