2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajepur (East Champaran) P.S. Case No. 74 of 2026, registered under Sections 303(2), 317(2), 317(4), 317(5), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 111(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, a stolen motorcycle was seized. The person who was caught stated that he had purchased the vehicle from one Vivek Kumar and the fake chassis number was punched by this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 31.03.2026.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering that the name of the petitioner has transpired on confession and he has no antecedent, this bail application is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M.F.C., Motihari/concerned court below in connection with Rajepur (East Champaran) P.S. Case No. 74 of 2026.

8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
