2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Jiradai P.S. Case No. 01 of 2024 dated 03.01.2024 registered for the offences punishable under sections 363, 366A, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the minor daughter of the informant for the purpose of marriage. When the informant went to the house of the petitioner for making complain, the family members of the petitioner abused the informant and threatened to kill him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47286 of 2024(2) dt.24-07-2024 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has stated that she herself went to Bangalore where the petitioner was residing and stayed there for 20 days. It is further submitted that there is nothing on record showing that the victim was not forced to have illicit intercourse with another person. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 23.01.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Siwan in connection with Jiradai P.S. Case No. 01 of 2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
