2. This writ petition is filed for quashing of the order dated 08.10.2013 contained in Ref. No. ZO/Muz/HR/2255 passed by the Assistant General Manager, Muzaffarpur Zone and Disciplinary Auhtority, Bank of India, Zonal Office, Muzaffarpur whereby a consolidated Penalty have been awarded in conclusion of a departmental proceeding.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was in the service of Bank of India. He further submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, his appeal which was preferred before the appellate authority which has been rejected on 10.10.2018 about which he got knowledge

4. Counsel for the Bank on the other hand submits that under Rule 18 of the Bank of India Officers Employee (Discipline and Appeal) Regulation, 1976 there is a provision of preferring review against the order of Appeal.

5. As such, this writ petition is disposed off directing the petitioner to avail the remedy of review under the aforesaid Rule.
