2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief/s:- "(a) Issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents no.

2 Municipal Commissioner, Patna, Municipal Corporation, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna be directed to conclude to vigilance Case no. 124(A)/2018 by way of

Patna High Court CWJC No.8678 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 2/3 approving the map of the constructed house of petitioner which was submitted Online 28.02.2019 as well as Hard copy of the said Map on 01.03.2019.

(b) The Respondents further be directed not to harass the Senior Citizen petitioner who was attending continuously since 2018 up-till-now but only case has been adjourned.

(c) The Respondents be directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner.

3. The petitioner has come out with a prayer to direct the respondent, Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation Patna to take up the Vigilance Case No. 124(A) of 2018 and dispose it of at an earliest.

4. From the year inscribed in the case number, it is clear that the matter is pending since last five years before the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna. It is high time that after hearing the parties, the same is taken to its logical conclusion.

5. Mr. Prasoon Sinha representing the Patna

Patna High Court CWJC No.8678 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 3/3 Municipal Corporation submits that the respondent shall look into the matter and will take appropriate steps immediately.

6. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation to take up the Vigilance Case No. 124(A) of 2018 immediately and after noticing and hearing all the parties, the same shall be disposed of latest by 31st December, 2024, if the same has still not been disposed of.
