Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 38(1) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Petitioner is owner of the pickup van from which 1800 litres of liquor was recovered. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Submission is that petitioner had no knowledge that the driver was carrying the liquor on the vehicle. Considering the facts of this case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is
