The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Parihar P.S. Case No.18 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is said to have assaulted the informant on his head by means of Nepali Khukhri causing serious injury on his head. It is also alleged against the petitioner that he took Rs.570/- from the pocket of the informant and a chain made of silver from the neck of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47300 of 2021(2) dt.25-04-2022 2/2 present case. It is submitted that the injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail application.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sitamarhi in connection with Parihar P.S. Case No.18 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J.) Sanjay/- U T
