JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-09-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 41, 42 and 52 of the Indian Forest Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner's tractor was caught engaged in transportation of forest wood.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already paid the loss amount/compounding fee of Rs.20,000/- to the Forest Department which fact has also been mentioned in the impugned order dated 16.6.2022. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner mentioned above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten
