1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and allegation is of recovery of 1780 liters of liquor from two vehicles and the petitioner being driver was apprehended from the spot and is in custody since 17.04.2024. It is further submitted that petitioner being driver was completely unaware that as to what was loaded in the truck by the consigner.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Kesaria P.S. Case No. 119 of 2024.

6. Accordingly, the instant regular bail application stands allowed.
