Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385,386,419,420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ransom was demanded from the informant by writing letters.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the occurrence allegedly took place on 16.09.2016 but the FIR was lodged on 27.10.2016. Neither the said letter was produced to the police nor any other material is there to substantiate that the petitioner was involved in that. Only material is suspicion against the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 26.02.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33893 of 2020(3) dt.29-01-2021 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kauwakol Police Station Case No.127 of 2016, G.R.No.2878 of 2016 with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
