The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Bela PS Case No 333 of 2022 dated 14.12.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 20 (b) (ii) (c), 22 (c) and 23 (c) of the NDPS Act. As per the prosecution case, 10 kilograms of Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner bears clean antecedents as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition. He is in custody in this case since 14.12.2022. It is further submitted that the said

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bonds of Rs 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Sitamarhi in Bela PS Case No 333 of 2022 dated 14.12.2022. This application stands allowed.
