This application for regular bail arises out of Lalganj P.S. Case No. 231 of 2020, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 413,414,420,467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 08.08.2020. It is alleged in the First Information Report that three persons, who were riding a motorcycle suddenly started fleeing away on seeing a police party. On chase, they were apprehended, who disclosed their identity. Petitioner was one of them and it is alleged that from the petitioner's possession a dagger was recovered. From possession of co-accused Golu and Mintu one duplicate key of unlocking motorcycle was recovered. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35715 of 2020(2) dt.15-01-2021 2/2 has submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and the only allegation against him is of having been found in possession of a dagger.

Considering the period of petitioner's custody and the nature of allegation, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-IX, Vaishali at Hajipur in Lalganj P.S. Case No. 231 of 2020.
