1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For the issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction to the respondent to issue joining letter to the petitioner in the back ground of the fact that the petitioner after being qualified in written test conducted by the central selection Board for appointment on post of constable appeared in the physical evaluation test hereinafter referred to as PET-2 and also qualification the PET-2.

(ii) For further direction to the respondent to comply the order and direction of this Hon'ble court contained in Pinku Kumar's case reported in 2011 (2) PLJR 405 and as affirmed by a

Patna High Court CWJC No.14470 of 2021(2) dt.04-01-2024 2/2 division bench of this Hon'ble Court passed in LPA no.634 of 2011 by order dt. 13.07.2011 reported in 2011 (3) PLJR 584. and several other writ application filed by the similarly situated candidate.

(iii) For further direction to the respondents to issue joining letter to the petitioner under BC-2 women quota."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondentCentral Selection Board of Constable, Bihar, Patna has submitted that the case of the petitioner is that of category mismatch and the same is squarely covered by a judgment rendered by this Court in the case of Jyoti Jaiswal Vs. The State of Bihar and Ors., reported in 2021 (3) PLJR 489, hence there is no merit in the present writ petition.

3. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even otherwise the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous on account of efflux of time, hence the present writ petition be disposed off.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
