1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and petitioner no.1 is a woman and the complainant alleges that the accused persons got the sale deed executed with respect to her land in favour of petitioner no.1 after giving an amount of Rs. 25,000/- when the consideration fixed for the land was Rs.1,95,000/-.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37073 of 2026(2) dt.17-06-2026 2/2 petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in the instant case by the complainant. It is next submitted that complainant after executing the sale deed instituted the instant complaint case with an intent to coerce the petitioners into submission. It is also submitted that the sale deed is executed only after the entire consideration is received.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Complaint Case No.1269 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
