The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gaurichak P.S.Case No.291 of 2017 G.R.No.4261 of 2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against the petitioner of selling the land, which is not of the petitioner to the informant and thus cheated Rs.32.40 lac from him.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for about 22 months and case is triable by the learned Magistrate.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of submissions as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40235 of 2019(7) dt.26-02-2020 2/2 made above, I am not inclined to grant bail tot he petitioner at this stage, however, the learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months, and if not concluded the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
