2. This application has been filed for quashing the order dated 25.02.2020 contained in Memo No. 1056/ Arms dated 25.02.2020 of the District Magistrate, Patna by which he has rejected the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license bearing number 67 of 1982.

3. With the consent of the parties, this writ petition is allowed and annexure 6 i.e. the order dated 25.2.2020 is hereby

Patna High Court CWJC No.10722 of 2020(7) dt.11-01-2024 2/2 quashed and the matter is remitted back to the District Magistrate, Patna for reconsideration.

4. The District Magistrate, Patna will consider the matter afresh for renewal of the arms license of the petitioner in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of three months from the date/receipt of communication of a copy of this order.
